WATER SELF SUFFICIENCY
Survival preparedness starts with water self sufficiency. Long term freeze dried bulk food storage and first aid kits, defensive weapons and other survival gear are important, but secondary to water self sufficiency. People can live days or even weeks without food. No one survives longer than 4 or 5 days without water
Available water is the first requirement of water self sufficiency. If the National Electric Power Grid is down there will be no water when you turn on the tap. The water in your pipes is there because the Grid energized a pump. If you don’t have a well with an old fashioned hand operated pump you will need to harvest, store and purify rainwater.
RAINWATER HARVESTING and STORAGE
Harvesting rainwater is as easy as attaching previously purchased, pre-cut flexible pipes to your gutter downspouts and connecting the pipes to your SURVIVAL H2O Tanks™, which may be conveniently placed, at the time of your choosing and configured to ensure that your family has enough water storage capacity to bridge dry spells.
How much water your family will need to store is a judgment call you will have to make based upon where you live and the size of your family.
Layaway Plan Available for Purchases over $500.00
The rainwater you harvest and store in your tanks, or water collected from any available source, may appear clear but must be considered unsafe to drink. Whether it’s rainwater from your roof, or water transported from your available source, it is contaminated with bird feces, insect detritus, decayed organic matter, chemicals, other pollutants as well as microorganisms including viruses, bacteria, fungi, algae, and protozoa. To make any water safe to drink it must first be purified.
The best way to purify your available water, without treating it with harmful and foul tasting chemicals, is to process it through either; the SURVIVAL H2O Purifier™ or Berkey® Natural Purification Systems, either of which make long term water self sufficiency an affordable reality.

WATER MOBILITY
Natural or man made disasters can, and often do, force people to leave their homes. If you must leave your home for any reason you will need to carry your own supply of safe, pure drinking water.
Without your own water your family will be forced to drink from unknown sources which can lead to severe illness or worse.
My Best Survival Products has chosen these Water Portability products for their effectiveness and proven reliability.
